That is definitely the preferred solution. I'd fire off some inquiring emails to some Opel dealers. Just attach that picture, explain what you are up to, and plea for help with the part numbers, prices, and possible purchase. People like money, and tend not to run away from it.

I just want a complete 1.6T engine and trans shipped to my door, is that too much to ask? Life would be much simpler lol.

But I dig the innovation and cant wait to see this done! Make sure you find a GOOD LOCAL tuner with a DYNO to tune it, look for someone who does a bunch of Cobalts.

The hot side from the compressor should be damn near identical to the stock 1.4T piping. The clod side, leaving the IC will have to be customized to run across the top of the engine to the intake.

The other thing you're gonna want to start thinking about is how to get the PCV to operate correctly under boost. Visit the PCV explained thread I made in the 1.4T section to get an overview of what a PCV needs to operate during both vacuum and boost.

Dare I say?...... investigate the 1.6T intake manifold. It will have the PCV built into it, and should bolt right up to the 1.8. AND may even make the intercooler piping design simpler.

Lol well December im not doing anythng to the sonic(christmas).But as soon as the new year hits..project is continue i should be done with it by march and tuned by April

Quick update: my part time job is at AUTOZONE and i just realized we can buy aluminum piping thru SPECTRE so i will be posting pics if the piping once i get it. Plus i get 20% off
