Nice!!! Did you notice any difference with the Intercooler Diverter?

I used the UltraGauge to look for improvement (ambient vs intake temps). The temps while moving appear to be a steady 10 degrees cooler with the diverter. I imagine a CAI with a good heat shield would provide an even cooler charge.

That's the way I plan on adding it as well, fogs and diverter for one removal. I will probably throw a new horn on while I'm in there as well.

I don't think the intake temps shows post intercooler temps.

Charge air temp is usually taken at the intake manifold (post-throttle body). And the numbers I am seeing are certainly too high to be at the air filter and too low to be directly after the compressor.

I'm not sure about being too high for being at the filter; engine bays get quite hot.

Of course, I don't have any proof to back me up, and I'm certainly not 100% sure. Let me check the manual real quick. Perhaps that will shed some light.

Is the trumpet you're referring to, the pre- filter snorkel?
I'm curious if removing it will promote more cold air flow or hinder it.
A tuner buddy of mine advised me against removing it. Thoughts?

The temps will be the same as pulling air right from the top of the filter. I pulled it because it is very small in diameter and could be restrictive. When I sent my datalogs back to Vince they were fine. So I would say there are no ill-effects on the MAF.

I'm not sure that temp differential range (100-250F) would be of much use. lol. But no I have not considered it. With both ambient temp and manifold temp displayed, I can see the overall effect of the entire charge air path. That's more than enough data from my daily beater.

If I "nerd out" on this thing I'll never get my fast car off the jackstands.

It's a Holden emblem. I removed the bowtie because it was installed incorrectly from factory and couldn't bring myself to put the ugly thing back on.

And those are 17x7.5" wheels with 205/45R17s.

that wheel offset makes the stance look 100 times better. can't wait to do a wider setup in the future...
