I quite like this car, the wheels seem to fit it quite well.

Hopefully you don't mind a look a like with different wheels.

Snow mode. 15" Dodge Shadow ES wheels with winter tires and the large Rallyarmor universal basic flaps secured with plastic rivets to the inner fender liner.

Some suggestions if you plan to run a similar setup. NEVER buy Continental tires (the sidewalls are extremely soft), opt for Blizzacks or X-ice. And upgrade to the uerathane flaps. These basic flaps are very rigid and scraping them on bumps and curves is noisey.

I'm not sure how I feel about the white wheels on a CGM car, but I do understand what they are for so they are good in my book.

This summer I'm pulling the flaps off and dropping it lower than last year on the Focals.

I'm going to use the rear springs with just the stock rubber bushing (no hats or rings) then crank the front down to match the rear.

I'll need a little more camber or a fender roller in the rear to keep from rubbing the sidewall.

Winter -> Spring conversion

We trimmed the body putty in the wheel wells with a flapper wheel, removed the rear hats completely (running just stock rubber bushings), threw 0.030 shims in back for a tad more camber, and ran the front coilovers out the bottom of the mount by about 1/2". The result is at least 3/4" lower than last year with no more rubbing and it rides like dream. Tight but not abusive over bumps.

Nice tuck, that shat looks so proper. I think I'm at 7/16 below bottom on the front Pedder's on mine. I wonder if the sedan has different rear geometry, because I've removed the rear spring perches also, but still sits too high in the back.

With the amount of drop you have, did you use crash bolt in the front?
Also can you remind me of the total offset you are at? Because its perfect.

Sedan is heavier in the rear so it sits lower.

I will post the alignment numbers after I get in the shop this week. I don't expect to need crash bolts just based on my driveway measurements but we shall see.

Also, I used my laminated healthcare plan card to ensure the tire sidewall wasn't contacting the fender lip. It seemed the appropriate tool for the job.

The first drive after the drop was to the local Wawa convience store. I was getting more stares than the Porsche cayman I parked next to. HA!
