I have no dog in this fight, but a couple things stood out to me so I decided to comment.
Should try it on a different dyno. Seems high for a non tuned car.
You can see by clicking the pic that it was STD corrected @ 1.06. Uncorrected he made 132. Completely plausible. He also mentioned he was at 1000ft above sea level. Correction for elevation to "sea level" will also "elevate" the numbers. Maybe that ties in to the STD correction, but either way, an addition 6% is a good bit of power.
The bypass mod won't give 30hp over the 138 from test I've done
The last two word say it all. Sometimes sh*t surprises you!
He listed his mods, and one was a ported intake. That alone yielded 14 or 18whp on DDM's dyno. He says modified intake, and cat-back.
So if his car was a "Wed. car" to begin with the mods listed could easily get him to that power...and they did
Also was the 141whp pull corrected? Sae or std?

I've seen posted numbers less
less than would have been expected for the listed mods, but no one seems to get skeptical over that. At least to the point where people continue to question it. Everyone seems to move on, however, when someone makes more that expected....people find ways to discredit them.
I made 127hp
completely stock on a dyno-jet. Why is it hard to believe he made another 14whp over my stock power with those mods?
and I haven't checked my plugs they r factory. 36k miles maybe I should.
