Another note; as noted earlier in the thread, I replaced the OEM clutch with an experimental one designed to hold better, because Trifecta would not give me the full power available with E85 on the stock clutch. Burned out two of those aftermarket clutches, replaced with a 2013 OEM clutch, and have now driven 70,000 miles on said OEM clutch, with not just the 185 or so ft.lbs torque the Trifecta red pill gave me, but the 212 ft.lbs from the VT tune and upgraded VT turbo. Of course I've only put a couple hundred miles on the BNR tune with the 250 ft.lbs so I can't say the OEM clutch is -that- bulletproof, but Whitesmoke and others don't seem to be having any problems thus far...

About a year back I got a UHaul trailer hitch installed. I've used it to haul loads in rented trailers over a dozen times now. Could not be happier.

I can't say if it's because I have nearly double stock torque, or how a stock Sonic (or even 1.8NA Sonic with its even lower torque output) would do, but as long as I'm careful with the loadout (they recommend 60% of load in front of trailer axle and 40% behind, and boy are they correct!) it handles well, cruises easily, and pulls like a champ.

I've come close to the recommended load limit of 2000lbs combined trailer and cargo load, Plus another 1000 lbs or so in the hatch, up and over steep hills, no worries.

Latest updated tune delivering 242 hp at 6000 250 TQ at 5200rpm... on 93 octane. It feels a little choppy above 6000rpm though, so we're still playing with it.

Resurrecting an old thread, were you able to get those valve springs to fix the high rpm problems?
