I will get some better pictures maybe tomorrow. My glass guy can't get the window til tomorrow, so I'm taking the day off. No lexan anytime soon. Nothing was stolen, I had just put the my camera in the glove box, because I was planning on taking pics as soon as the wheels were on. But they never got that far cuz a guy in the parking lot ran them off. Kinda almost ruined what was to be the greatest day ever.
Anyspray, I'm really happy with the wheels. They look more proper than I had expected. I feel like 225's would have looked fine, but the 215's have a nice little stretch look to them. I don't have much to review about the performance because I came straight home to cover my window, and load pics of course
But the ride feels more solid.
Also the center caps arent on yet because I don't like the plastic chrome finish. I'm gonna wrap them in CF vinyl until I can come up with something better.

Love the wheels. So are these actual Opel wheels or are they knock offs? And what size tire did you go with? I saw 215, but 215/?

I guess they can be called knock-offs. The brand is Cruize, and they were advertized for Opels, Astra and Vauxhalls with 105x5 lugs. They were not a direct bolt on for American Sonics, because I had to enlarge out the center hub bore for them to fit. They are a replica of wheels that GM makes for the Buick Regal.

Oh you went with 18's...that's why the 215 is stretched slightly...I was confused by that because I wasn't sure if they were 17's or 18's.
Very nice. I can't copy though...wouldn't be nice. I will have to find something else. Still leaning towards the ASA GT06's, but they look too much like they belong on a slammed VW or a Civic...hmm. Guess I have time to find what I want for sure.

There are two reasons it took me so long to get it done. The first is that some punk ass silverback broke into my car when I went to the bank to get the money to tip the tire guy. Broke my window like some savages.
Second reason is that the hub bore was a tad to small on the new rims. Luckily the tire shop let me borrow their die grinder and let me open them up right there.

you'll need at least 54mm offset, mine are 7.5" with 42mm and there is a little bit of rubbing on the inside wall during slow full wheel stop turning.What kind of side shot do you want to see? You mean like a how flush to fender shot?

Hard to get a shot like that while she's in my tiny garage for missing window protection. I'll get some pics like that today after I get the window replaced.
Although it got more low by 3/16", it also created 3/16" of open space at the top of the wheel well....... obviously. So now I have an excuse to take it down a little more on the Pedder's.

Speaking of Karma, I will now be keeping a baseball bat in my car at arm's reach and will be keeping my eye out for a late model Silver Impala. It's on like Donkey Kong.
