he!!s ya. do the carbon fiber batteries work as good as the OEM?

So far. I don't plan to go big on the bass in this car. Been there, done that, grown up. The Braille (B2015C) is 15 lbs. the stock is 33! It has 425 CCA compared to the stock's 460 CCA. Plus it's AGM so you can mount it in any position you like

I removed the exhaust manifold heat shroud today. My idea is to build a better looking one out of stainless. I drove a lot today without it on and my engine and intake temps were unaffected. Is there any ill-effects of leaving it off while I take my time fabbing a new one?

Possible damage to the rubber hoses up there, but I'm no expert.

I know from experience that it's not an issue on a N.A. engine. But my concern is the heat from the itty bitty turbo.

I ceramic coated the turbo manifold and downpipe on my supra and the underhood temps were cooler with ceramic coating and no heat shields than with no coating and the shields.. I think we would have to take the center section and compressor housing off to not damage during the baking, or who knows being a turbo that takes heat daily! Maybe the whole unit could take the oven during ceramic coating. That's what I Plan to do with mine when I get a catless downpipe

It's just carbon fiber vinyl. I'm not sure I like it, but I had to try it. My plan is to score some eom white handles off an LS, but it's way low on my list. Unless someone fancies the chrome handles and wants to trade straight up.
