Every state is different when it comes to prices for tint. This is going to be done by a professional that knows what he is doing meaning it will be done right the first time around. He uses top quality Tint, not some cheap crap from walmart. and the fact he is a professional that knows what he is doing he will more than likely have a guarentee with his work if any defects were to occur so i dont think the price is all that bad with those factored in. Plus the fact this type of thing is not as popular here as it is in other areas makes for the price to be higher to get done. id rather pay a little more than average to get a quality job done right the first time then go somewhere and get crap tint at a cheaper price and have to have it redone because it wasnt laid down right the first time.

Just got a message from the guy thats going to do tint on my sonic. He says he can do tint for me next wednesday May 1st. So by the end of that day i will have me a nicely tinted sonic! Cant wait

dude lol everything in Ohio is overpriced! Seriously. everywhere you go in this state stuff is over priced. find the same stuff in another state and bet you good that you will find it alot cheaper. Just the name of the game. But overall for this the price really is not all that bad for the quality of work thats going to be done. At first i thought it was high. but when the guy told me what all he offered and the quality he brought i figured it was worth the few extra dollars to get it done right with quality stuff. Its going to look so sweet when its done. I go next wednesday morning to get it done! cant wait!! :banana:

That's not a bad price for tint. Considering the quality. I personally would much rather pay a little extra knowing my tint will last much longer than other people's you see on the road fading purple or bubbling.

I agree, my point exactly. This is a professional doing the work, is using High Quality Carbon Tint, not cheap stuff from walmart. So it should not only look better but last longer. and im sure this gentlemen will have a guarentee with his work so as said before. for me i think the price is right on. Plus, he was the first one to actually get back with me and i really want this done so im willing to do the deal. 5 windows for $260 with quality tint, worth it in my book.

I think I paid $360 if I remember correctly. I could be way off.. But that price came with a lifetime warranty. So when other's <$200 tint fades or bubbles guess what, they're paying to have it replaced.

You did good to find such a shop willing to give you a good deal Jimmy. you also live in a larger city venue so the available options are greater vs the smaller cities im surrounded by. It is what it is. Again, i myself dont think its all too outragous in price. yeah id like to get it done for cheaper. but if this guy knows what he is doing and has quality stuff then im willing to pay a little higher than the normal. and its somewhat local so i dont have to go way out of my way just to get it done.

I paid $225 here in SoCal to have mine done when I bought it two weeks ago. $260 isnt a bad price IMO.

Oh no your fine man. i was just saying that the price to me seemed right for the quality i was going to get from it. yeah the price is a little high. i actually turned this guy down once because of the price. but when i couldnt really find anyone else willing to return my calls it dont really leave me with much of a choice. Plus like i said. the guy has been doing it for years and knows his stuff. Uses Carbon Top Quality tint so with that in mind it seemed more fair the 2nd time i talked to him. He was all cool about it and said it was ok for wanting to shop around first. I cant wait :banana: My sonic is going to look sweet with the new shades.

Thats totally understandable. I wasnt exactly planning on doing this project this year but when i came across some extra money i just couldnt resist and called that guy back up and he said sure thing, and i got penciled in for an appointment. Now once i get this Tint done i need to save up for some Rims. The Stock rims will really be killing the mojo for my car after the tint is on it. Already have a set picked. just getting the funds to get them lol.

I know that in Ohio tint prices is crazy. There is like 3 shops with 2mi of me that is over 250 a car so 260 isn't really that bad tbh

It was one of many things i really wanted to get done to this car when i bought it. I think the Dark tint will look amazing on my white sonic. im doing 45% Carbon Tint on the Front sides and 18% Carbon Tint for the Rear Sides and Big Rear window. might ask him when i arrive if he will do the top part of the windshield also for the $260 to help with the front sun blocking. likely with the 45%. Next wednesday just cant get here soon enough lol

I Got my Sonics Windows Tinted Finally! Love how they turned out. I had them do 45% Carbon Tint in the Front Sides and 18% Carbon Tint in the Rear Sides and Rear Big Window. Now my sonic is starting to come together! Next project is to save up and get me a nice set of Rims to compliment this nice look

NEW Camera Mount Unit...

I wanted to make videos of the car moving from outside of the car without paying out the rear-end to get a GoPro. So i looked around and found this nice unit and Bought me one! and i only paid $30 for it!

Its a Delkin Devices - Fat Gecko Mini Camera Mount... Its like a GoPro but like way cheaper to buy than a GoPro. Mounts to the vehicle via a strong suction cup system. It allows you to screw onto it any digital camera or lightweight camcorder to it to make the videos. Soon i will have some videos made useing this new device i bought. Going to try to do some here within the next week or so whenever i have the free time to mess with it. Excited to make some nice videos now! Will keep you all posted. opcorn:
