Turbo Tech Racing Lower Transmission Mount! Sneak Peak!

You ask you receive!

Preloader/Vince started a thread request for a new product a few weeks ago. He requested a lower transmission/torque mount be produced. We found there was a good interest level, so we decided to make it happen. We contacted Vince and asked if he would like to test the first unit. He accepted the opportunity.

The product will be shipping to Vince tomorrow/Monday for final testing. Once he gives the thumbs up, we will release the lower transmission mount.

The product can be found in the link below, however we are not accepting pre orders at this time. Vince will allow that to change, once final confirmation has been given.

Ill do my best to review effects on vibrations, but as I've stated, my upper mount hardly causes vibration at all at this point, so it may be hard to tell.opcorn:

I've got about 5k on my upper mount. But I stumbled across a way to lessen the vibes when I installed these nylon spacers above the mount to raise my heat shield up for proper fitment.

Edit. I wonder if u can use rubber ones

him and I were actually just talking about that, but we had thoughts of the rubber needing to be retorqued often.

Thanks for clarifying that before someone asked. I figured that's why you didn't put that photo on your site. I had to share it though, because it shows how awesome it turned out.

Actually thats a good point, because the third bolt is more like a stud that the mount rests in and the engine would have to jump pretty high to escape.

Just be sure to check the torque often..... I don't want people saying: Preloader told me to put rubber bushings on my motor mount and now I take the bus to work.:blankface:

Edit. I wonder if u do rubber under the mount and nylon above if they would eliminate it
