Your hood is awesome! This summer I think I'll be ready to break the paint.... It's getting faded and really beat up. I've owned other black cars, but this paint seems really soft.

Thank you, took a while to muster the nuts to cut the hood..
Do a good polish on the clear coat, it's actually pretty good paint

Last night I did the Cruze PVC fix, changed the VVT solenoid seals, put on the new cam cover, ported the intake, and re wrapped my roof and discovered the water outlet/neck aka cluster F is leaking. Shouldn't have taken as ling as it did, but I like to mess around and get distracted.

Matte red is pretty sick though.... Vivvid vinyl has a matte, red, metallic diamond finish. And it is amazing. It's matte, but sparkly like sandpaper.

Today I changed the water outlet.... Pretty easy job. Was covered by warranty but for the hassle I prefer to do it myself. $16 on Amazon for the AC Delco. Next weekend the spec clutch and aluminum flywheel are going in. ... Finally
