So you are saying you've only had them installed for 6 months or it only lasts 6 months before it starts to peel off?

I have had a carbon fiber overlay on my old pontiac grand am. Its a 2004, and i still see it around town and it still has the same overlay on it that i put on it 7 years ago. This past summer i installed the carbon fiber overlay on my sonic and i expect it to last a long time too. Nothin lasts forever but if the vinyl overlay last 3 to 5 years then i would say its worth it since its super cheap to do.

Since I had trouble with doing vinyl on the logos I decided to Plasti Dip the bowties. Here are the results --->

I was outside looking at my new car earlier and thought "damn those gold emblems are ugly. Wonder if i could cover them with some vinyl?". Just a few minutes ago i found this thread. I now have some vinyl ordered and will be rocking some carbon fiber badges really soon!

Exactly. It came out nearly perfect and I used bare minimum of the sheet so I'm not worried.
