I go blindstyle. I put my finger on the bolt or bolt hole with my left hand and then use my right hand to hold the extension and feel around for my left hand to guide it in. This is coincidentally the exact same technique I use in the bedroom.

Lol... I think this is the universal technique, I was reading it thinking it was starting to sound familiar..

They're all over the place. The most common places are in the dash, enginebay (ecm), and/or trunk. When I left BMW a few years ago the 7 series was at over 100 control modules.

The issue with finding someone to tweak the programming is one of liability and also the tools to shut off a light.

It is a nightmare of a job. I've done it twice now, and it was still a beast.

I honestly think you would love it based on how much you and you buddy can't get enough of the pshhhhhh.

I could walk you through it, I believe you are capable, but it takes heaps of dexterity and the mental constitution to resist frustration. And the correct tools are essential.

I'll post the second video I took. I apologize for the wind noise. It's almost unbearable. I'll definitely get a better video that displays how good the blowoff sounds soon. It sounds like a cryogenic coffin opening after housing an alien for hundreds of years. The sound is very sci-fi.

Trifecta can tweak the BCM and chooses not to, most of the things people want done to the BCM are removal of lights for systems that he will not tune off due to liability issues.

Been a while since I pulled a good "roll" hahaha.

So since I was disappointed with the Forge Recirc BPV feeling and sounding no different than stock, I decided to jump on Sonic24740's super deal on his used Forge BOV.

I just installed it and, while a tad ricey, I think I like it. It's actually not ridiculous sounding and has the crisp hiss I was kind of hoping to get with the BPV.

And I figure with the MZ0 creating early load, I'm not going to lose the almost negligible gains to be had from recircing to the tiny compressor.

I shot a video, but the wind noise was horrible. I'll try to get a better one soon.opcorn:

I'm almost dialed in for epic track day. I gutted 106 lbs out tonight, so I should be rocking 2,510 at the track. There are more sonic parts in my garage right now than there are in my Sonic.

I'm getting my alignment done in the morning. And I'm picking up Tmo on my way to the track.

I'm aiming for Stratton's time, but I'll be satisfied if I can pull consistent low 14's for now. I've got some much bigger plans on the horizon soon. But they will require time off from work, so it looks like this will be my last track run til the end of the summer.:blankface:
