I finally have MyLink updated with the latest and greatest, so I decided to give BringGo a try. Using an iPhone 4S, it seems to work fine for the couple of days I've been trying it.

A couple things...

1: It's disappointing that they have disabled the traffic feature in the trial version as that could easily sway me to purchase their product. Is it any good? Currently, I rely on an iPhone app to determine which routes to take as to not sit around wasting fuel.

2: Speaking of fuel, looking into the settings for the Eco stuff and it tells me that my vehicle is not supported. Is this another disabled item in the trial? I see some here have received low fuel warnings and such with theirs, so I know the Sonic is capable of this feature. Not like any of this is a huge deal as I don't need a navigation app to tell me I have enough fuel, just curious.

I like the concept of it fairly well. But it does have some things that give me pause... Like how it can't get me to my house from the nearby highway (a 0.1 mi straight shot) without sending me on a scenic 0.3 mi tour of the back of my neighborhood. I'll keep throwing destinations at it and see how it does.

Thanks, Blue Hedgehog!

I learned Clear Channel furnishes some data for the app I use, so maybe that is promising.

For fuel, I'm at 70 miles remaining on the DIC so I should see tomorrow if it says anything about being low.

The right turn thing is exactly what is happening. It makes me turn right, go through the back of the neighborhood, and arrive at my house on the right. Instead of just going straight and having the house on the left. Seems kinda silly that it does this and can't be changed. "Left turns" should be an avoidance option if they insist on routing this way. (though I am all about avoiding a left turn on a busy road without a light, so this would sometimes be useful.)

Edit:

Mine did warn me of low fuel. Which makes absolutely NO sense that the other fuel-related features (driving range projection, displaying fuel level/range on the fuel status page, etc) are incompatible with the Sonic. Obviously it is able to communicate fuel-related data on some level.
