Ive done mine twice and any time the bumper comes off you're basically guaranteed to break the bumper clips haha. Its worth it for the rings though!

It's hard to say without seeing the actual design, But it should only be as difficult as removing the bumper ( not really hard at all, took me like 45 minutes alone my first time ). Then the bracket would attach where the tabs currently mount to, and then you drill the hole into the bumper for the release.

I actually need to reach out to Jeff and see if they found a car to build a prototype on. HE said he had someone but I need to follow up with him. Race season for him has started so he is pretty busy.

I don't get on to this forum often enough. I wish I had known about this possible product before this past holiday weekend. I took the bumper off my Dusk sedan. What a b=tch to do. I wanted to install more useful horns. Well the minor cosmetic difference from a regular sedan makes a big difference in removal because taking the front spoiler hides two hidden screws which makes removal impossible if you don't know about them. Fortunately next to my car in the garage was my wife's LTZ which enabled me to look for similarities and differences in installation of the bumper. Other than the screws at the spoiler on the bottom, the two cars are identical. Having this kit would make things a lot easier. I was planning to do more stuff to my car eventually that would require bumper removal, but this was a discouraging job. And yes, I did break the clips on the sides too. I'm interested.

I kind of like the "jdm tuner" ones I see on eBay but I like these too but I have never had a quick release but I guess my question is so when you install it can you remove all of the screws and bolts that hold the bumper in place then and have it all ridding on the quick release then? I plan on doing alot to my sonic that is going to require me to take the front bumper off constantly so I want the quick release lol its a pain in the ass to try and remove the bumper in a cramped apartment garage with 2 kids running around with my tools lol

I only have 1 on each side currently and can pop my bumper off in 30 seconds or less without ramps also. Hands down best mod for people who are in need of removing the bumper for whatever reason. It also cleared up the deaded case of Rick Flair due to the tabs being broken.

Do you keep the bolts underneath attached, or do you keep them off now

I keep the lower pan off and the fender liners just need to be above the bumper when installing. I do put the plastic clips in up top to keep the gap near the hood in check.
