If anyone does lower their car with the stock sized bump stops still in place, for the love of god, cut one section out of the top of all four stops. On my gray car, I left the stops alone, and it rode on them pretty much all the time. The ride was terrible because the dampers didn’t have any room to work. I took roughly 3/4” out of each of them, and the ride quality this time is 10x better.
Just because you’re not slamming into the stops on every bump doesn’t mean that it’s not riding on them a good bit. This is something that some may not know. It’s about a 1.5” drop with pretty soft springs, and still using the stock size stops isn’t ideal. Taking a little out of them is pretty common in that case, even though ZZP never recommended it from what I’ve seen.
