wow makes the led strip on the headlight assembly look like nothing!

They’ve pretty much rendered the high beams unnecessary. I may install some LEDs in the high beams later on, but I don’t like HIDs on a dedicated high beam bulb. I have Osram Nightbreakers in the highs right now, and the lows almost match them in significant height and distance.

Quick update: BNR finally got a base tune to me that’s running properly. I had to revert all parts back to stock, and he sent a file with the ethanol sensor disabled. It’s gone several hundred miles and several days running perfectly. I sent data logs in, and I’ll see where he wants to go from here to try and find what was causing the problems.

Even running the base tune, the car is a blast. It’s at ~15psi max and tapers off quickly, but the throttle response is great, and the low end torque will shove you back into the seat. Even if the Sonic had come with this base tune in OEM form, I feel like people would’ve liked it a LOT more. Just sayin.

After all that time waiting on a car to replace my old one because it got rear ended, my new one with 6k miles on it got rear ended. I’m keeping it this time, the damage is nothing like the old one had, but this is frustrating to say the least.

My wife was driving it this morning. She’s ok, just flustered and angry. Definitely could’ve been worse, and I’m happy she’s not hurt.

Is that just paint on there bc if it is you can get some soap and a green scrubbing pad and get it off someone had put a long scrape of their white pain on my car and I got it off that way

Least it wasn't her fault. Only time ice ever been in wrecks is that exact situation. Sucks cause there is nothing you can do about it.

It’s not horrible, but it’s worse than just a little paint scuff. We’ve already filed a claim on the lady’s insurance.

That’s the plan. It appears to be just cosmetic damage this time, not structural like before. I was planning to keep this one forever anyway, so the accident record isn’t a problem for me. It just sucks that this is three out of three Sonics I’ve had that were rear ended right after I bought them. Each one quicker than the one before it. Give me a break, man.

Any word on the intake/exhaust cam mod? And does anyone know what wing that is on the white car when everyone was talking about fender flairs?

The word on the cam(s) is that BNR isn’t interested in messing with a tune for it, so I’m not going to be doing it anytime soon.

I can’t see any white car with a spoiler. I’m on Tapatalk, so I may not be able to see the white car you’re talking about if it’s in a signature.
