Looks like the LS7 coils are fixed! I’m going to give it until Monday before I declare it fully, but the new harness seems to have done it. I’ll be installing the BNR WGA this afternoon. Then, hopefully, everything else will follow quickly after.

In place with one turn of preload. Looks like I’m hitting right at 248kpa MAP pressure, which in ‘Murican is 21psi of boost.

The coils are great so far. I’ll be sending logs tonight to see what BNR wants me to install next.

I was waiting on a big change to post, but I have been doing a few things. Ordered a BNR GTX250 Monday. I’ve installed my ported intake manifold, MpFab intake, PCV fix, ported TB, FMIC, and charge pipes. As soon as the turbo comes in I’ll install that and the exhaust.

I didn’t take any pics of it, but I’m not totally happy because it’s sitting too low. When I have more time I’m going to mess with it some more.

I haven’t driven it yet, just hooked up the switch on break and pulled it outside. The part is built like a tank, but that makes it bulky. I’m going to have to pull the interior and see about notching and boxing in a part of the exhaust tunnel so I can rotate it upward.

I bought some good clamps from Vibrant and did some shifting around on the cutout. Now I’m happy with where it sits, and I didn’t have to cut the car to rotate it up. I also removed the turndown because I think I’d rather have it blowing straight back than down at the ground and throwing dust everywhere. It looks like the motor for the cutout is touching the brace at this angle, but there’s a good 3/4” of clearance there.

Just came in! I hope to get this installed in the next week or so. I wish I had the time to knock it out today, but no time right now.

Cam timing kit. Prepping for the valve spring install.

I’m waiting on some parts and special tools that are recommended in the shop manual for the turbo swap. I’m not sure if they’re all necessary, but I don’t want to take it apart and then find out. I’m not sure how long it will take to get everything in, but the turbo will go on quickly after I get those parts.
