It's not on it anymore.... Neither was I. I'm trying together a one piece replacement for the tailpipe I have now so that I can get rid of the cheap chrome tip (chromed not my style).

So, I was talked out of the Nero's by the guy at Discount Tire. These tires are dwendling and discontinued so finding a replacement will be hard. So now I'm looking at the Conti DWS and Cooper RS3-A. Any insight on these options? Recommendations for others?

Bridgestone Potenzas, either grid or pole position, in a 215/50R17.

Of those two, I'd have the coopers.

I have the Conti DWS on the Mini for about 10k miles and just got the Bridgestones RE970s on my xB. The DWS are great in the wet and very predictable in the dry. I was going to get them for the xB but was swayed by a $70 rebate. I've only have about 500 miles in the RE970s and have been fairly impressed so far but they're only now getting scuffed. The RE970 is quieter and more comfortable but the differences are minor. I don't have enough experience with the RE970s to recommend them over the DWSs, but I'm finding both to be excellent.

Thanks for the input! I'm finding the haters for each but they are few and far between. I'm thinking its going to come down to a "what's available today?" type deal.

Probably, "what's the better deal today?" That's usually what I end up doing when I'm stuck between a couple.

I've always like the BFG KDW, a very ballsy tire for these cars.
