I personally feel its an invasion of my privacy. If all they did was assist you then I wouldn't be as paranoid but when I keep getting calls from them trying to tele market their services and after reading the privacy policy...no thanks. I posted a link to the policy earlier in the thread,give it a read it states they can sell your info to third parties as they wish. These third parties could include local law enforcement to assist in settin up speed traps, you insurance agent so they can monitor how you drive your car and basically anyone else they want to. If you do a google search you can find the stories about onstar selling your car info for speed traps but I haven't heard anything on the insurance agents yet. Just a matter of time though before they get smart.
To everyone else that assisted me in this thread thank you I plan on doing another post with pics on how to remove the onstar antenna once I get a spare minute between work and college.

I can't put something in a faraday box if I don't know what it looks like....
