My first order was for TPW of 10/8/12 But the Dealer cancelled my order after I had attempted to have it delivered by a different dealer do to a mistake on my part. Thats Ok the dealer lost 3 extra sales over it and the dealer I have delivering my unit when it comes is actually going to deliver to my home when it comes in...

Now that is Service!

RS Turbo, you cancelled your order but a strongly doubt the order was cancelled. By the time you reached the point that you needed to change dealers the Sonic RS was already showing as difficult to order with some very heavy duty constraints. I suspect your order is still in the bin, so to speak.

If so and if it is in QC that could give us a clue as to why so many scheduled builds are delayed.

Actually I just checked my original order was moved back down to a 3100 and dated TPW of 11/5/12

Hi Bruce, I just checked your order status and your vehicle is being checked for quality assurance. It does not give an expected target arrival date yet. You may want to check back in a week.

3400 means labels are being printed and the car is about to be assembled. I have never seen a car slide backward once it got to 3400.

Check with Becky tomorrow because a car does not go into Quality Check until it is assembled. I therefore believe you are at 3800 and should now have your VIN. Congrats - I think you are the first RS owner to get their VIN.

status should mean the dealer has been invoiced for the
vehicle, however it is probably in Quality Control. That's
common for new model production and hopefully won't
be there for long

Thanks for the good wishes from all of you. I am not hoping that they will rush their work--I want it to spend a LONG time in quality control since it's a new production run. No doubt about it though, I am excited.:banana:
