From what I understand it's when they are printing labels and preparing the car for the vin and to be built.

3400 = Order Broadcast
That is VERY good. Right now I can not recall an order reaching 3400 than sliding back. I imagine instances of natural disaster have done that but other than that you are good to go, the parts are in the building and the little stickers are about to be printed.
Becky will need a request each time so starting Tuesday you might ask her to check every day until you are at 3800.
3800 = Vehicle Assembled. And there is a VIN she can give you.

I think the week of the 29th because I would expect there to be several days of QC Hold as I still think of the RS as more of a new model. There is a disadvantage to the QC: takes a few extra days. There is a great advantage: everything is completely checked there at the factory by the people who know what should be. I can not recall a post that a car that went through a QC Hold having a QC problem. Which I suspect is why you posted: check away no matter how much time it takes. (My translation of course)
