Looks like things may have stalled

Not uncommon with new production that something
may come up and stall the process - perhaps to make
a correction along the line - regardless - I'm sure
they will build you the best car possible as fast
as possible

I suspect it is due to Sunroof... Did you have a Sunroof ordered on your vehicle?

Car is only at 3800 status so it needs to be
invoiced to the dealer and then it can be
released to ship Hopefully there is only
a short QC hold and it's on it's way

That is something the dealer has no control over and will happen right about the time the vehicle ships.

We are not certain how Chevy is treating the RS but generally new models are held in Quality Control for several days and each is subjected to an extensive going over by the plant staff. I consider the RS to be a new model, so your RS may not ship for a week or so. If it is not considered a new model, it takes a minimum of two day to ship. I say minimum because I can not think of one instance when a new build shipped quicker.
