I looked at a few other models of the splash shields but didn't see any that looked like a direct bolt on, at least as far as I could tell looking at the online part catalog drawings. I believe I looked at the Encore, Cruze diesel, and one or two others, they all looked really different.
I have to say that on days where it's raining pretty good out and I'm on the freeway where a lot of spray is being made, I can tell the front discs are getting wet now that they extend a little beyond the shield. After a half second of applying the brakes they dry and all is back to normal but that half second at 60 MPH is what, 44 feet?
I have come to leave a little extra following distance when it's raining hard, just to be safe.
