If you lower your car more than that where I live, you're gonna have a bad time.
My car is stock and I still drag that front thingy all the time.
In my own (gravel) driveway.
In and out of business driveways, etc.
Lord knows what my car would have looked like had it been lowered when I hit the curb divider that broke my wheel.
I like the looks of ground effects.
Funny thing that if I got them, I could no longer enjoy driving my car.
I wanted to put smaller wheels on my car because it takes less power to turn a smaller wheel, spins up quicker with more torque. That was my line of thinking anyways. Just to play around. Never did it because I started worrying about that scraping thing.

I'm lucky I haven't scrapped yet. No rock driveways and sucks about your wheel.

Mine scrapes all the time going in and out of driveways, enterances and so forth. My drive way at my house i scrape every single time going in and out because its too steep of a slope. its just the black rubber peice getting the action but still makes you cringe when you hear it. havent had a chance to look at mine to see how mangeled it looks lol. here a scratch, there a scratch, everywhere a scratch scratch lol... will be looking into how i could make the enterance more level so i dont scrape anymore, even if it is just that rubber peice. still annoying lol

Best way to tell is to look under your front bumper. Cant miss it if its there. I honestly dont know if the RS models have them or not. But from looking at pictures online of RS models, it looks like to me they do. Only way you will know is if you crawl under your sonic and look. I think all of the sonics have them? its a flexible rubber peice. mainly used to help with MPG and keep drag down under the car.

The Black Flexible rubber peice under the front bumper is for reducing drag under the sonic and allow for better mpg and areodynamics. But unfortunetly for many, because of the low profile of the front end of the sonic many are finding themselves scraping that peice on almost anything and everything they encounter with any kind of raised driveway, entrance, and so forth.
what adorablekaren was saying is she doesnt think her RS has this piece on her sonic. That is something i cant answer as i havent seen one in person to know. But thats what that is all about in a nutshell. Picture shows that rubber peice.

I needed one of these. I was tired of seeing finger prints on the mylink screen. And in the future I can't scratch it Very handy, picked up at walmart for about $14
