so here are a couple beauty pics, not sure if they are SOTM quality but i will be going out of my way to try and win this month

so far, bow tie color change, debaged turbo and LT, painted rims, put in two 12" MTX Subs, tinted tail lights, and 20% tint all around. :banana: and more one the way opcorn:


Ill be getting a new shifter head tomorrow, i will post pics then

I think you're well on the way to being the March SOTM.

Are you thinking about blacking out/painting the chrome trim around the grill and the also the rear trunk horizontal? If so, how?

You need to tint the turn signals in the front, they stick out like a soar thumb from the side! But it looks great!

ofcorse i like the car lolz if black wasnt so hard to keep cleen we would have verry similar cars lol. alost exact minus sedan thing lol, they are missing something, i think a small spoiler.

Thanks for the ideas and replies i am tinting those darn turning lights tomorrow actually, i realized the same thing today lol.
And to stevesonic, my Girl friend actually said the same thing, but i don't know what to do... Maybe ill get together with the paint guys at the dealership and see what they can do for me and ill post up their ideas. My own idea about the grill though since it's a small portion is to do the same paint as the wheels, but the strip on the back, i don't know, i don't want it an off color black i think it would clash pretty badly.
And Doreo, YOU BETTER LIKE THE CAR lolz haha ya only got the black car cause im a detailer at the moment :banana: and yes i think a small spoiler would do very good justice towards the car.

ya.. but thats the easy way out.. in other words.. i put in two 12" LED strips in the floor and they are green!! looks amazing IMO. and i am getting two more 6" LED strips for the back seats and the tiniting the turn signals tomorrow and will post pics of those.

So this set up went as such, bought a pack of two 12" green LED strips from Autozone and found out i wanted a switch and i didn't know how to plug it into a power source ( ya im a newbie) learned alot through the process but ended up going to WalMart and buying a 8$ LED set up that plugs into the 8v socket (cigarette plug in place) and cut off the crappy lights and split and cramped my lights to it and best part is the socket i bought came with a switch on top so saved some money on a switch and getting installed by a professional.

Also tried to install a new shifter knob, didn't go so well.. turns out there is no screw under the cap and no way to twist it off.. soo i don't know what to do about that.

homeboy if you drive here ill install that **** free of charge, i enjoy it lol. its rather simple and i did a to do on the diy

basically grab your switch, add a fuse, barrier block thingys and the jumper pice. i dont remember name but im sure i put the correct name on my diy and importantly wire.

place all the led's and run wire to the blocks then run wires to switch. have one pos wire go to fuse one ground wire to the body and hope it turns on lol. i got my switch installed inside the cubby hole above the gear selector and i have led's 24" under the dash and back seats and then 6" in the doors

haha i think i will take you up on that offer if i ever go with more lights i got hung up today so hopefully will get other lights hooked up to my rig soon :banana: and trying to take the headlights out seem imposible so i think im just going to mask it off tomorrow and tint those turn signals

you sir just need alot more time and a wide variety of tools lol when you got that combo anything is possible. i tought myself how to wire led's and swap a cat back lol. along with every thing els on my car

Your car is looking great so far man, I have a black sedan and eventually want it to look very similar to yours

In terms of interior lighting, dont buy lights from autozone or walmart, its all Sh!t. I reccomend either ledglow.com or for a little extra streetglow.com
the ledglow.com kits come with their own switches and have modes to flash the lights to the beat of your music, and your subs. they also come with their own fuses so its easier to wire up.
streetglow you have to make your own wiring systems and its more expensive but the glow is from real gases as opposed to LEDS.

i would have to disagree here, the autozone led's are good and easy to install, walmart yes is **** but thats to be expected. and unless you get a color that does not mess with your night vision (red) its a little excessive to get neons inside a car and all the music flashy box does is get you ricer cool points and distractions so unless you are going for excess ect i think the autozone leds' work perfectly fine it literally would take me an hour or 2 max going at a nice slow pace to wire up all 6 led strips in my car correctly including fuses and everything. desired effect my friend from what i cna tell he met his

ya i didn't want to go all flashy just have some cool lights in the car, and i am not using the wal-mart lights (they were to crappy) i used the switch that came with those lights, it was an easy set-up took 15min and got my desire effect and i wanna learn how to do most of my own things on my car as well.
As to Sonic Boy thanks for the complement and i can't wait to see you car when your done and see how we compare

i had and still have 1 modified walmart led lol i didnt look at the box well enugh to realise it was a plastic stick with a bulb on one end and got it, worked like ****, shortened it up alot and stuck it in the cubby hole below the radio with my switch and i gotta say it does fine, deff better alternative to trashing it and buying a smaller strip hehe. i think we got the same led set up just i got 1 in each door cup holder and i think that looks pretty cool food for thought if you wana add more shiny lolz
