4300 Interim Transfer means what the dealers are saying. On a rail autocar some where in these United States. Once it gets to its destinatation rail yard and is off loaded it takes at least two days to get dispatch to assign a truck, then however many days for the carrier to make its rounds from dealer to dealer until it reaches your dealer.

Status 3300 is parts are being assembled from around the plant and its suppliers. You are close but no cigar, which is 3400, at which stage a target production week is announced, and the TPW is one to two weeks after the 3400 date. The vehicle is almost always assembled during that week - 00% certainty. But from 3300 to 3400 can be a day or a week or more, the time is very parts availability dependent.

How do you find out the TPW?

Easiest way is to ask your salesperson. A TPW is sometimes available at 3300 and always available at 3400.

Some who use GMConnects have had their TPW from that source but that is a new development and I am not certain it always has it.

anybody (laborsmith) know what this means? I'm guessing that it has been shipped to a railyard? My status still shows a 4B00. Maybe it hasn't updated since it shipped yesterday. Any idea how long it might take to make its way to Tulsa, OK?

Mine took 2 weeks to get from Toledo Ottowa to Seattle by rail. Probably lots of time waiting to load or unload. I'm guessing 3 more weeks to get to AK.

Takes about two to three weeks to get to the west coast by rail, I suspect most of the time setting in a yard while the autocars are being coupled.

Yes, it was there at status 5000. 6000 means it is sitting in someone's driveway. I hope you are talking to your salesperson, and please let us know what you learn.

I just buzzed my dealer, my car is sitting at the local train depot in Denver, they have received 2 truck loads so far, expect mine on the next truck load...so today or tomorrow for me!

I've tried talking to my dealer they said it would be in on their next truck but they said that they didn't know when it was coming in....

Shapoopy, I would say this is one of those hiccups that occur in real life, since it is not normal to deliver a car to a consumer without a dealer somewhere receiving it. (That is status 5000) And the dealer is right, until the car hauler rolls in carrying your car, any date he gives you would be a guess.

i think it might be because we already signed everything for the car and it is in their system, so I'm guessing that it kinda messed up the order of the (####) on gmconnects. other than that i wouldn't have the slightest idea.

I would say you are right. Yours is the first non Corvette situation I have come across where everything was signed before delivery, although I am sure it has happened with other Chevy vehicle lines I just have not been made aware.

My car is at the dealer! Just drove it and picking it up tomorrow morning. GMconnects is still showing it at the rail yard.

Remember GMConnects is 24 hours behind time. Your car should show 5000 tomorrow and 6000 the day after. For reasons I do not know, there is a server the dealer accesses which is real time and the server GMConnects connects to to which each days events are uploaded over night to be picked up starting about 7AM.

But at least, even tho a day late, the info is accessible. A good thing, from my point of view.

Yeah, the update language has left me wondering more often than not, too...and I agree, optimistic interpretation is the best way to go
