Official: What are your real world MPG Numbers

I was tailgating a semi approximately 5' behind it. Then we parted ways and my mpg's went down a bit. It's called running the draft. Used to do it on my Harley till my head almost got took by a tire blowing out

Ok I believe you now though you have to admit, most people arn't going to see those kind of numbers.

The 1.8 in the cruze has the same 6 speed that's in the 1.4. So yes.. might need a bell housing adapter thought

If you're talking about the six speed auto, you're correct. I'm talking about the Cruze with a 1.8 and a six speed manual.

I think the 1.8L comes with the option of a 6-speed manual. I'm almost positive I test drove one.

It is beyond me as to why they decided the sonic would be fine with a 5 speed, but the cruze was beyer with a 6 speed. I wonder if mounting locations and axle stubs are the same between the two platforms.

I have the 2013 1.4 turbo and 6 speed manual. What a great combination! I'm averaging 35mpg in the first 300 miles of this car's life. My driving is rolling to hilly city and highway driving.

I've got just over 3200 miles on mine and have been getting 30-33mpg (manually calculated) with primarily bumper-to-bumper commuting (Washington, DC area traffic).

1.4L Automatic (Sonic LT, 15" wheels, standard octane fuel)
