thanks, ive actually seen one in person to which is why i fell for the color! i love my white sonic, i do, i even got a compliment about it tonight while i was out and about. But im craving a turbo sonic so bad. and im looking at an opitune time to do the jump from a 1.8 sonic to a 1.4 turbo sonic. Ive always had a thing for green cars esp metallic ones. After seeing this color in person. i knew i had to get one when the chance came.

warrenty about to expire on the fallen at the end of the month. figured why not ask. run some numbers and see what kind of trade price they give me on it. will update when i know more. but im definetly serious about wanting to do this. ive had my fun with The Fallen. been a blast, but its time i go Turbo. ive test driven one about a year ago and have been wanting one since. opcorn:

as long as its a 1.4 Turbo engine in the engine bay doesnt matter to me if its an LT, LTZ, or RS. I doubt i could afford an RS Sedan even though i love how they look.

When i go talk to the sales rep on wednesday to discuss my options and chances to upgrade i am going to tell the gentleman it doesnt matter if its an LT, LTZ or RS model, whichever you can make it happen to get me into a sonic with a 1.4L Turbo engine in it thats the one i will go for.

My goal is to be at the same monthly payment or lower. if it turns out to be higher than my current payments more than $5 higher, i wont be upgrading.

What i am looking for is a Dragon Green Metallic Sonic Sedan with the 1.4 Turbo engine in it. Interior i would prefer the Jet Black Darker Cloth seats if LT or LTZ.

Fog Lights is a must either already installed or installed after purchased. and have as much as possible transfered from my current sonic to the new sonic like the body kit including spoiler, rims and tires, tail light bulbs (LED & Hard to find), and the subwoofer i had added in. The intake and exhaust was made for the 1.8 so i cant swap those parts over to the 1.4L.

thats what im looking for when i go in to talk to the dealership. Im honestly not looking for a whole lot or requiring of much from them. its gonna come down to trade in amount they are willing to give me, any and all deals available upon the vehicle found that meets my requirements, and the final amount translated into monthly payments.

Most Dragon Green sonics in the surrounding area looking online are $18k-$20k! So will see come wednesday!

upgrading put on Hold!! >_<

Well in typical fashion, things dont go my way for nothing. wont be going after a new sonic at this time being. its been put on hold. why the sudden change. well, turns out things are not going so well at work that i was unaware of until today and with this recent update on things at work. i think its best i dont invest in a large item and then end up not being able to pay for that item.

So, for the time being i will be sticking with The Fallen as my sonic for now. But i have not given up on getting a turbo sonic. once things are figured out and i know where things sit for a financial standpoint. I WILL BE looking into getting out of the 1.8L sonic and into a 1.4L Turbo Sonic. Maybe by then i will have a few more payments in that will give me an even better shot at doing the swap anyhow.

just sucks as i was really looking forward to getting into a Turbo Sonic and having a dragon green metallic sonic. Guess that will have to wait for now. :blankface:

Thanks for all the support whichever way i decided to go with this. i love my 1.8 sonic, but i was ready to upgrade and try the other sonic out. one day hopefully, one of these days i will get to enjoy a turbo sonic. opcorn:

Sorry to hear about the financial instability you're suffering. Sucks about says it all. Why not try later after the new model year comes out and maybe save a few hundred dollars? Something to look forward to. It's only 6 months away.

I brought mine used out of state.. family thought I was crazy ..do you really want a Sonic.. but I have a low payment, good gas mileage, and a car under warranty. I also refinanced the loan and its even cheaper.

Don't be afraid to drive far to find the car you want.

Updated Exhaust Video - 2012 Sonic 1.8 Sedan

here is an updated video of the exhaust since i had removed the unifoam filter and replaced it with the AEM Brute Force DryFlow Air Filter.

The difference that filter made over the unifoam one is amazing! the exhaust note is aggressive and deep. really makes the car go too. can only imagine if i was to finish the exhaust and tune the car what it would do then.

The Fallen - Pampered with Full Exterior and Interior Cleaning

Spent 3 Hours of my day today just thoroughly cleaning the interior and exterior of my sonic, The Fallen! Now it feels great to get inside it and drive it in a nice clean car! no more dust, dirt, stones, or nasty mud inside or out. Here are some pictures i took of the finished product... Shines in the sunlight now! Now i just need to get the interior upgraded to what i have in mind and some weather Tech floor mats, and i would have me one sweet ride, more than it already is lol.

April 18th 2015 Update

***UPDATE***

New Upgrade Coming Soon! working on clearing the funds to buy the new item as you read this. once the funds have cleared and available the item will be getting ordered. Once i have them and Installed i will update with pictures for all to see what i decided to do next.

Bought me a Pair of Eagle Eyes Projector Headlights with Pre-installed Halo Rings and spent 3 hours yesterday tearing my sonic apart and installing them! Love how it looks. here are a couple pictures i got of them. will be doing more soon....

How bad was the install? Everything just plug N' Play pretty much? How about quality? I've had these on my watch list on ebay for months, waiting to just click buy it now...hahaha

They are awsome! love how they look. the halo's make what i already had of an aggressive look and finished that design i had in mind. Install depends on how skillful you are with working on vehicles. for me this was my first time tackleing something like this. and first time removing the front bumper of this car. Total time to disassemble the front bumper off and swap lights and reinstall the bumper was 3 hours.

When you remove the front bumper, be careful of the tabs that hold the bumper on or you will do as i did and break every single one of them and have to rig the bumper back on to stay in place. I removed the two front tires, then the front section of the wheel wells and that opened things up to better get to the bolts to remove the bumper along with the multiple screws, bolts, and push pins to be removed. The lights themselves was easy as pie, was the bumper that gave me greif lol.

When i ordered my lights they gave me new bulbs for Highs, lows, and turn signals with the lights. the stock harness's plug right into the new headlight units. no modifications needed. the halos splice right into the turn signals with ease using some clip wire splice's (mine didnt come with them but were easy to buy from a store). quality is excellent. plug N play connections other than the halos.

Within 3 and half hours i was back on the road with new headlights that has turned heads even more than i already was to begin with. I would definetly recommend the Eagle Eyes Projector Halo Headlights. I just have to adjust the light beam but other than that love them!

My bumper is actually off already, I have been hard at work upgrading things while I have it off so I don't have to wear my tabs out by removing the bumper time after time. But I really like the look of these lights. So I guess i should go ahead and click the BIN button hahaha
