Why did you choose Sedan or Hatchback?

Honestly there was no other choice than sedan for me. I hate hatchbacks. If I had one I'd feel like a tool every time I enter or exit the vehicle.

I don't think it's the Hatcback that makes someone a "Tool". Who even uses that word anymore?

I came from a big, powerful Jeep Grand Cherokee (V8). I stll have the power and the Sonic drives more like a sports car. I love the ride. And with the Hatch, I have plenty of storage, like my ole Grand Cherokee. I lug around a pitching machine with a battery pack. and all the equipment for softball. A Portable Beach VolleyBall Net, My Golf Clubs, a bin with all my car stuff.....

All that in the back probably kills my MPG's, but it doesn't hurt the power and fun ride.

OH, and I do have a "TOOL" Box too.....

I think men get the hatchback because they are pu*sys and can't handle a real car

What a cluster **** of a weekend. We have been back 4 times for rekindle. We called in a foam truck last night to foam it. Haven't made it up there yet to see if it's finally out.

Someone mentioned that the taillights on the sedans do not look right. I think they look better than the ones on hatchbacks.

I like hatches but I feel the sonic hatch doesn't flow. So I chose the sedan.
But I'd have taken their hatch had it been stick because it was an RS, but I love driving a manual so the LTZ sedan it was

I got a hatch for a couple reasons. Looks awesome, love the idea of easier to use cargo space.. Which by the way seems infinitely larger than the sedan. I fit a huge tv that I don't remember the size but was as wide as the opening and long enough to put me almost under my steering wheel at 6'4". It would be a cold day in hell before something even CLOSE to that would fit in the sedan. With the experience of moving apartments (WHILE also using a rental sedan) it really makes the storage of this car stand out immensely along with the tons of huge boxes that fit in there that the sedan would never dream of fitting. Hatches forever!

Hatch was just too small for me

Chose the RS sedan ( 6 sp Auto) as all the local dealers only had RS hatchbacks with 6sp MT and the which I am okay with but I am not the primary driver, plus the trunk is as big as my Ford Fusion with excellent egress.

I love hatches (especially 2000 honda civic for some reason I did not like the sonic hatch. Also the sedan was cheaper

I haul a lot of stuff, so hatch is a must. Plus I like the more distinctive look of the hatch.

I do not like hatchbacks as a general rule. However, the Sonic is an exception to that rule. I love the look of the hatch. But I just prefer having a sedan.
