Porting the Intake Manifold

Im not really wealthy. It sounds nice but would the power benifit even be worth it. is there pros on this?

Typically similar results as a header or such. 10 hp mod. But they do look awesome.

oh, I'm sorry bud.

Some people have had no problems with it, but I still maintain that there is no issue with it, but I think you need ECP. either way, if it doesn't run well just put it back to stock.

Boostedsnail, check out Stratton's build thread, I think I remember him posting about it. I can't remember if he ran it for a while with the standard Trifecta tune or not or if he had any drivability issues. I know for a fact that I would do it, log it and get it reviewed and/or updated as soon as possible.

TTR, I would be interested in an intake manifold. It wouldn't be at the top of my list though, but, if produced would be something I would do after my first stage of building goes (engines done, next is springs and a 3D Carbon front lip). I think I would pick this over a stereo upgrade any day!

$ub$onic, I'm pretty sure TTR's talking about the 1.4t. The 1.8's still have some sucking up to do....

so what was the verdict? im tuned already and will data log after so can i run it for a couple weeks with out an update or do i have to let my car sit? some times bnr is a tad laggy on data log responses. i raced a slammed integra last night and it was close but i was losing power in the high rpm range so i lost. from my understanding this mod helps with that. i was mad bro =(

I think porting the intake helped a bit in the higher rpm range.. my opinion though
