Hahahaha! Exactly. I'm packing longjohns for my fishing trip in Arkansas that's happening over the next 4 days. Their forecast 35-60 everyday I'll be there.

Good plan! I keep a jacket in the back of the car because there are no guarantees..lol.

Fishing in Arkansas? Sounds like ALMOST as much fun as why I am visiting AR next month.

Added my Ultragauge this afternoon and went out and played with my turbo.

Very clean set-up keep up the good work, I was curious as to how you ran your Ultragauge cable?

I have it looped up and around the top of the gauge so when I take it off the dash I have some slack, but only then, and then it goes down beside the steering column, and back through the dash and out the fuse panel and down to the OBD port. I twist-tied the slack and stuck it in the space inside the fuse area. It looks very neat and clean. I can take pics when I get home from school if you like.

I had mine mounted in that area before but, I didn't really like where the cable was running but, I was running it to the left under the A/C vent, looping it make sense if you can run the cord without any interferance. Currently messing with mounting options with the window mount but, I'd like to find a place to mount it without, I just feel it looks to bulky for my taste.

Yeah, this is kindof a "just for now" location, mounted with velcro. The KS heat is not going to allow that to be the full-on solution. I want it on top of the steering column, but I'll have to figure out a way to offset it from the gauge cluster because I'm not tall enough to see them over it if I mounted it the way some others have.

I worry about heat as well living here in Florida. I have custom cut sun reflector I use when parked for extended periods that does a good job keeping the heat down but, have yet to see how it does come middle of July. My assumption is it would be cooler in this loctation compared to mounted on the windshield.

Looped up over the top and tucked down the back

Into the space between the steering wheel and the dash

Through there over to the fuse space

Then it's tucked down in the little space in front made just specifically for that

And the cover goes on nicely too

Looks good. One suggestion. If you route it straight down from behind, it doesn't have to come out the fuse door. You won't see the cord at all and it'll look more seamless.

Finally!!

The tune is effing amazing. I kind of expected it to negate 1st gear. It didn't change much there at all. 2nd gear, I wasn't prepared for what happened. I'm not sure anyone can be for their first time. OMG. I was through the gears on the highway and pushing 90 before I knew it. Oops.

*sigh... I'm so happy. Lol.

Do you have to keep an eye on the boost with the tune, or is it pretty safe throughout the powerband?

She shuts it down shortly after 20 psi, even if I'm still accelerating. I've got to re-learn how to drive in order to hold it out. Just like the slightest breath on the accelerator will send you rocketing, the teensiest hesitation (which unusually don't even notice I'm doing) will lose it. But still I feel comfortable with the quicker acceleration.
