Not as shocked as I that it all still works. Good thing for me the Chevy engineers gave us such a solid foundation.

Took two days, but I managed to get the MGP Brake Caliper Covers installed. I will try to post some pictures, but it may take a couple of attempts as I still haven't figured out what I am doing.
The above is a view of the rear. Below is a view of the front.
Expecting rain so did not wash the car before taking the pictures.

Now with the Retrofit Source hid low beams on.

Mickey Shorr in Warren did the install. I got there about 9:30 and they were finishing up at noon, including time to find a second capacitor link. The H7 HID kit I bought directly from The Retrofit Source.
Thank you and Hulty for the positive comments. The Sonic takes on a rather fierce look with them, even at rest when parked.

So what's your opinion of overall quality if the actual housing? What about the ccfl?

I would say the housing is oem. The part number sticker on the oem set is faded so I could not read where it was made, but everything external was exact the same. I would not be surprised to learn both sets were assembled under the same roof somewhere in Taiwan.
I like the CCFLs but as I have never owned a car with any kind of halos before, I can only compare them to what I have seen on the street, and I have liked those as well.
No concerns here about the quality of the housings.

Whoops misread several people in the other thread show cutoff and say they are good.

Yes, the cut off is sharp and stair step effect is also sharp.
I admit I did not understand what SuperSonicRS was asking and was wondering if I should have looked inside the housing before the HID light went in, which I did not do.

As you see these are quite bright. HIDs are 35W 4300K.
