If you have an MpFab intake, remember to install this little option along with it.

I didn’t install mine in the beginning, but after I did, I noticed that the car smoothed out at lower speeds. STFTs are less erratic and LTFTs didn’t change a bit. I’m seeing the same peak boost as well. So, I’m getting the same amount of power with a better driving car and more settled fueling.

I had MPfab intake before I sold it and now have the GM intake and was considering getting this to add. Just have to measure to see if it'll fit.

BTW how has it been driving since the solenoid bypass? Mine has been good very good overall. Retesting my old tunes and data logging to send Jerry for a final revision. I told Jerry I did the mod and retesting old tunes and he's curious of my results as they didn't test it.

The car is running great. I won’t lie, I do get little random weird things that happen rarely, but I mean very rarely. It’s much better than it was before the bypass.

Awesome to hear and same for me too. I sent in data logs to Jerry and I'm curious what he'll have to say of the logs with the bypass as they never tested it.

I also switch back to the aftermarket diverter valve as the stock one with the bypass seemed the stock spring was too weak to take full vacuum directly from the intake manifold. It's running great so far. I can finally maybe get an E85 tune now.

Mine runs much better on E30-E85 than on 93 octane. You won’t be disappointed running E.

Jerry has told me that the FPCM tables will be ready soon. He’s been working on removing the 4000RPM rev limiter for the manual cars when they’re stationary and he’ll send my tune with both of these changes in place.

Yeah I'm the same way. It's definitely quieter than the Mpfab intake but not by much. You can hear everything. I'd love a quiet performance intake but it doesn't exist.

Glad that it’s been helpful to you. That’s the main reason I post stuff here. I’ve done a few little things here and there that aren’t posted, but all the tuning and power related things I try to include.

It appears that the shop where I did my previous dyno pulls has suddenly packed up and closed shop. There’s only one other dyno that I know of in my area, I had my Sonic dynoed there stock also to try and verify a suspiciously high power number. It put down within about 5whp of the other dyno though. I guess I’ll be going back to that one for my final numbers.

Car updates: I ordered 60# injectors to replace my 52s so I can run 26psi on E85. Still waiting on FPCM tables to be worked out for my ECU. I also have a little side project going for the intake manifold. I’ll leave this here for a teaser in the meantime.

The plug will fit right in, I’m just going to have to mount it and get it tuned. BNR said they would tune it for me, so here we go. Glad I have a spare IM to play with so I can take all the time I need.

It will not bolt up. What I’m going to try to do is bond it to the IM with an aluminum and composite compatible panel adhesive. LOTS of it. If that works, I’ll be able to bolt the TB straight to the spacer.

If you can get me an accurate measurement of the bolt patterns and bore sizes I could probably make a spacer/adaptor plate for you, and maybe then one for myself too xD

I would hate to see the sticky goop come un-gooped. Actually I might even have a chunk of alluminum laying around.....I'd have to check.

It’s very strong stuff. It’s what we use to bond roofs and bedsides onto vehicles. I’d also be supporting it with some nuts and bolts. That will mainly be there to seal it well.
