Couldn't hurt isn't a valid enough reason for me to install one. I can spend my money on other things besides a catch can I don't need.

Can I get a feeler on how many people are having this issue? I don't think it's an issue that should be solved with a catch can. My car doesn't do it, and i'm sure others don't either, so I think oil in the inlet tube is an issue that you should bring up with your service department.

I first noticed my old 3.1l grand am started spitting a little oil out the pcv line after around 200,000km. Not the mileage anyone here should be seeing for quite awhile.
I wonder if the OP has a minor gasket leak into his crankcase somewhere, forcing more air through the pcv lines than it would normally see.
The catch can topic gets me feisty. I just really can't see any reason. I know Danny found oil in his inlet tube, but why him and not me? I have 18,xxx miles and I have never seen any. I don't get it.

You run better oil than he does. Better oil is less likely to have impurities and or break down. I run full synthetic and my oil barely changes colors. The original dexos that was in my car looked like it had 5k or more on it at 1500 miles. Good oil in a turbo car can make more than double the difference it would in a non turbo car.
I didn't run full synthetic until my 14000(ish) mile oil change; I had free changes from the dealer. I've never had oil in any inlet of mine.
