I bought the smallest pin connector females I could find at Radio Shack and they were still too big. What is the name of the pin type and where can I find them?

Pins are smaller than a typical VGA connector.

Nope the pins are there, just need to install 2 females into the harness,

Those are pretty much the smallest you can get at 20 ga.
but i have an idea still.

The pins are about the size of 0.5mm lead from a mechanical pencil.

Harvesting from the junkyard is probably my best option, such a low-tech way to do such a hi-tech upgrade. LOL

Yeah, I was hoping Sword would chime in, but he's probably laying in bed with red pill whiplash. He figured it out, so I was hoping to be lazy and just copypasta what he did, but slightly harder work now, is better than waiting around for easier work later. When results are on the line.

Where do I find dead ribbon cables laying around?
There is a Fry's by my school, might give it a shot.

Yeah fry's would have them, Just tell them you need an IDE or FDD ribbon cable.

If you have an old unused computer anywhere it will have them as well.

The pins from a Case fan might actually work better but i don't have one to salvage here.

Fry's it is. If I new the name of the pin in the ECU I'm sure I could find some online. I'll DEFINITELY share what I find so others don't have to spend hours with such a lame hunt.

I went to my neighborhood computer shop, dunno where he harvested the parts, but it didn't take him ten minutes to find whatever he came up with, and he charged me a whopping one dollar. I'll see if he remembers where he got them.

Swordsmith did they look like the ones next to the dime I posted before?

If not find a 3 pin to molex adapter and harvest the 3 pins in the small plastic piece. Shouldn't cost more then $2-$3.
