That sort of kills my supernova wall of light idea.
I expect Zod to chime in and explain how I've misused supernova as an analogy.
Craziest story ever!!!!!
I ordered the sprung disc last week, thinking that it'd be softer on the trans when I did the swap. Problem is, I accidentally gave them the wrong address for the shop that I'd be doing the work at.
The address I gave them doesn't exist. So when I called CM they tracked it and said it was delivered and signed for. FML right?
Well turns out it was signed for by a lifetime friend of my dads at a parts store up the street. HA!!!!
I called him and sure enough it was there!!!!
Looks like its gonna happen after all.
I managed without tape. Once mixed, it's thick enough to not run out of the small pinhole openings of the stock rubber moldings.
I just filled one side, waited an hour for it to firm up, and then flipped it over and filled the other side.
I believe the end result is pretty damn close to what I'd get with an aftermarket poly bushing. Thanks for the tip.
No, but now that I can say first hand how much they help, I feel like I can get a demand thread going and help stoke the flames.
I'm thinking TTR might get on board.
