Thanks for the Heads up on that. I didnt know i had been picked for it until i saw this on here. Been at work all day so i havent been on the computer any to check anything. Thats cool i got picked for the weekly shout-out. :banana:

NEW Fog Light Bulbs Installed - Jet Yellow by Putco
I had a new set of H8 Jet Yellow Putco Bulbs installed into my stock Fog Light Housing on my sonic. To Me, They dont seem too yellow. Kinda pale and not as bright as i expected. will see how they fair for a little bit, then if i dont like them i will just reinstall the stock Fog Bulbs and put a light yellow tint film over the glass to give them a yellow hue. Always more than one way to skin a cat as they say. For now, here are the new bulbs pictures i took tonight....

If that is what they offer you for yellow bulbs I would send them back for a full refund!
PIAA Ion Yellow Bulbs
They do cost a bit more but they work great, and their customer service is great. I had a fog go out, not sure why, and they sent me a whole set for free within a week.

yeah there definetly not yellow! and alot more pale in brightness too over the stock bulbs. Overall, im disgusted with Putco Products. :sadbanana: I expected alot more from these bulbs all around.
As for sending back for a Refund, ive had them too long to do that. they wouldnt take them now. So ive wasted some money on these all around junk bulbs. looked at the stock bulbs for the fog lights and they are Phillips H8 Bulbs. I think i might be better off just putting them back in and buying a Tint Film for the Fog Housing and just tint the lense so the light coming out of the bulb is bright white, but dispenses out yellow thru the film.
Another lesson learned lol. oh well. Im done with bulbs for now. My concentration is going to be saving up to get the rest of the 3D Carbon Body Kit for my Sonic... That and getting the 2nd CAT Removed and straight piped. I feel that 2nd CAT is really restricting my Sonic's performance. Continue the 2.25" upgraded size as far up as i can to open it up some more. Eventually will get all of the exhaust upgraded to 2.25".

Just sitting around looking up what all i want to do to get my sonic to "Finished" and be Completely Satisified with the Final look i will need roughly $7,000+ to finish everything.
* Thats a Full Blown Custom interior, with new Seats and Dash Kit...
* Completed Exhaust system with header, downpipe, and 2nd CAT removed and fitted with a Test Pipe Section...
* Custom Front Grille Mesh Inserts
* Exterior Kit That Overhauls many features with a Carbon Print Material overlay
* Oracle HALO Light Kit
* EIBACH Pro-Lowering Spring Kit
* 3D Carbon 4pc Body Kit To Finish The look i have invisioned
* and To Top it all off a BNR Trifecta Tune to Fully utilize the upgraded components of the engine including a K&N Filter for the DDMworks Intake I have already installed.
Factor in labor costs and it would put between parts and labor to around $7,000+ to Finish my idea i have for my sonic. Coming up with that money is going to be the challenge and more than likely i wont get this done anytime soon so bare with me and you will love the end result once i get the chance to get it all completed!opcorn:

Been thinking and Considering everywhere i look in town i am seeing Hatch sonics galore, its gotten me thinking. If i ever got the Chance to Get me a 2nd Sonic, This is what i want... a 2014 Chevy Sonic LT or LTZ Hatch, In Dragon Green Metallic, and have the Roofline and hood Painted Metallic Black and the wheels a dark Gun Metal Grey.
Would make for one mean looking sonic! Get a Set of Green Oracle Halo's and Lower it. Of Course the 1.4 Turbo Engine, with a 6 spd Manual. Yep, thats my Dream Sonic!
I love my White Automatic Sedan, But I have come across so many areas where a manual would be way more handy as of late. ive been using the manual mode on my automatic sonic so much, im craving a manual now. Its so much more fun to shift it yourself, Gets going alot better on inclines in manual mode. This would get me going to learn a manual car. I would keep the auto Sedan for daily stuff and use the 1.4T Hatch for my weekend Fun. What you think of this rendering i did using some screen pics of the New Colors for the 2014 Sonic??opcorn:

Just a Little Update....
Hey everyone. Been looking around at what all i want to do next with my sonic. Something ive been wanting to do for a good while now is get the rest of the body kit for my sonic. So, I got online, and Contacted 3D Carbon themselves. Got ahold of a Represenative and explained what i had in mind and wanted with him. Now im just waiting to get a reply back on what all they can do for me and cost.
So once i know more i will update. Im hoping to get the Body Kit Soon. All depends what all he can do for me as to when i get it. may be soon, or may be early next year. Once i get my Tax Return if i havent bought the Kit yet im getting it then. My Sonic is going to look Amazing with the Body Kit installed!! Will help peice together the look i have going on. The Guy Said he will be back in the office on Monday so i figure late monday or tuesday before i hear back. Getting Excited to do my Next Modification to my Sonic!opcorn:
