Local auto part store didn't have in stock. Looking at part numbers for the Encore pads and Cruze diesel pads on newgmparts, they are the same. I'm going to check with the Chevy dealer a few miles away and see if they stock the Cruze diesel pads and if they don't want my first born for the set I'll pick them up.
I looked at EBC brakes and they don't list an application for the Cruze diesel or Encore
I saw them on ebay, that part number too. I already have pads locally coming in so I'm covered but for the future this might be my choice. Thanks!!look in Europe.
the buick encore and the chevy trax that sold in Europe are the same platform.
the EBC greenstuff for the chevy trax is: DP22067
that's the part number.
EBC Brakes Direct Automotive
i found it also in the us, here:

look at the car fitment, it says also cruze.
i heard that before, but somehow a lot of sites that are selling gm parts, have them on site..
Chevrolet Parts - GM Parts Department: Buy genuine GM auto parts & aftermarket accessories at wholesale prices.
Part Number Search - GMPartsOnline.net
GmPartsShop.com - General Motors Parts - OEM GM Parts ? Chevy Silverado Parts - Factory GM Parts
so it is still an engima..
part number 23124391
It'll be 50/50 either it's old stock, like said above, or you'll get a email or notification that they don't have them. Either way if they supposedly have it and you want it jump on it.....i heard that before, but somehow a lot of sites that are selling gm parts, have them on site..

if we will work out the encore swap, there is no need.
even with the need to change calipers,it's still half price from the GMPP set.
we waited till now, another week of two won't matter.
Here's the left bracket. BEEFY!
gmpartsdirect.comFor fun I was pricing out the parts for the rear disc swap on newgmparts last night, it won't be as inexpensive using mostly OEM stuff compared to doing it like MPFab, but I may go that way. Well except for pads and rotors, I'll probably get those at a place like rockauto.
As soon as the rest of the front brake stuff gets here and I get it all on the car I'll be doing the rear disc conversion. So in about another week, maybe two I'll have the brakes fully converted and I can cross that off my list.
Good question. Don't know. I can check part #s.Walker, are we going to need longer bolts to accommodate the thickness of the rear caliper brackets or will it be a wash once you take off the drum backing plate?
