Thanks PreLoader! Doing the kit black was a bold move. i love it. The black has a nice gloss to it and really makes that front end just pop now! and as you said, it really has that look of dont F*** with me Buddy! Now if only i could get rid of that damn front license plate and get a custom grill put in. That would set off the front even more!

Down the road i will get the door handels painted black to add to the accent color scheme. Need to get the interior looking better now to match the awsome exterior. All in due time. opcorn:

Im interested, just finding time to be able to do so is going to be the issue as work is a complete mess right now. had many people quit all at once thus we are beyond short handed and seeing how im one of the few left that actually work and show up on time im being dumped with all the work 90% of the time. so my availability is going to be very hard to judge for a little while.

All i can say is Find a good spot, and set a time up and if i can make it i will come. bout all i can say at this point. sorry.

One little subtle touch I did on mine that I still enjoy is upgrading the fog, lows and highs to a blue iridium stained bulb. They are NOT blue when on at night. I hate people that have those. The Nokya Cosmic white bulbs are brighter and whiter, and the bluish gold reflection when they are off is what drew me to them.

Start of the Interior Projects....

I decided i wanted to start the interior projects of my build with doing some things i know i can do myself. First up, paint the radio dash area trim peices all white. Started with dissassembling the peices off the dash.... Hoping to get this done today. will see how that comes. if not always tomorrow to finish.

First GoPro Video Attempt: Just trying out the GoPro I Bought to see how to work this thing and where would be the best place to mount it to get the best sound. This video turned out ok. could have been better....

Second GoPro Video Attempt: This video turned out better in sound quality, but the angle i had the camera kinda made for a neck hurting position to view the video lol. So i have to work on that part but the location on the rear bumper was alot nicer in sound quality. alot less noise picked up....

Custom Painted Interior Peices...

Painted the Radio Plastic Surrounds, the two pockets, and the top peice and then took the speedometer apart and painted the grey surround white. Here are the results....

Gave my sonic a good hand wash and wax today. Looking good now for a few days lol. Couldnt take looking at the dirt on it anymore. plus had the time and was a nice day outside to do it.

Aquired for a price quote on a set of LED Turn Signal, Projector Headlights from Thialand. just awaiting a reply back from the company to see if they can make them for the USA and how much it would cost to have them made and shipped to be used on our sonics. Once i know more i will update. would be cool if we can get those headlights here in the usa.

This is my next upgrade. I Know of a person that has a brand new set never used they want to get rid of so i am currently working on getting the funds together to buy it off the person. Once i have them and installed i will update and post pics and videos of them. Cant wait to really give my sonic a nice fresh look. gonna look bad@$$ with these lights installed!

I actually just ordered those same headlights. Have to order HIDs yet tho. But i am avoiding eBay for those.

im not going thru ebay for any of it lol. but i will get some HID's eventually if i can manage to get the funds to get the lights off the person. But until then i will still use the stock bulbs or whatever regular halogen fits these lights. The main reason i want these lights is the Halo Rings.

"Just to Post and let everyone know i still have the STOCK 16 Inch Rims and Tires that my Sonic came with when i bought it stored away in my garage. Less than 10k miles put on them before removed and put in garage for the new tires and rims i bought.

I know most people upgrade or change out their stock tires and rims for something else like i did. But thought if there was any intrest in someone maybe wanting my stock set i might be willing to sell them for the right price. They are shown in the picture above.

I thought i would hold on to them with the idea of getting some winter tires to interchange them and the summer rims but i dont see that happening now. So if offered the right amount, id be willing to get rid of them. id say $400 is the minimal id go since your getting tires and rims. the stock lugnuts would not be included. i dont know what happened to them when the tires and rims were changed for the new set.

The one rim does have some slight curb rash on it from a bad winter and slight loss of control into a curb. hence why i got rid of these tires and just got new rims at the same time. Rims are otherwise in great shape! would make a nice set of winter rims. PM me any Intrest in them."

after checking to see what it would take to get them shipped if i was to sell them its just too much involved to do and i just dont have the time to prepare them and/or arrange a time to get them picked up and so forth right now. so i wont be selling these just yet. but i likely will at some point. Plus i have a feeling the cost to ship these wont be cheap since the weight will be decent with the tires already mounted to the rims. When ready i will post a For Sale thread in the selling classifieds.

I would say that's a very fair price. The OEM 16's are desirable. Lighter than the 17's but much better looking than the 15's.
